CO-CREATING STORIES OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM

A group of formerly incarcerated men come together to devise and film a series of dramatic scenes based on their experiences of prejudice within the UK prison system.

The Process is the result of a collaborative devising process between myself and a group of men with lived experience of the UK prison system. We hope to show how collaborative filmmaking which is conducted with trauma-informed safeguards in place can achieve powerful results on both an artistic and a personal level.
